<p>The National Film Development Corporation Limited is pleased to deliver the much awaited second edition of “Gala Premieres” during the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI). This section has been carefully designed to foster a dialogue between movie stars and the public, honoring the world’s cinematic talent and showcasing an exceptional lineup of films—all while adhering to the festival’s fundamental principles.</p>
<p>World premieres of the feature films Farrey (Hindi), featuring young talent and produced by Salman Khan, Gandhi Talks (Silent) starring Arvind Swami, Vijay Sethupathy and Aditi Rao Hydari with music by A.R. Rahman, Kadak Singh (Hindi) starring Pankaj Tripathi and Parvathy Thiruvothu, Hurry Om Hurry (Gujarati) starring Siddharth Randheria, Rautu Ki Beli (Hindi) featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Grey Games (Kannada) starring Vijay Raghvendra, two series from Amazon Originals, Dhootha (Telugu) starring Naga Chaitanya Parvathy Thiruvothu and The Village (Tamil) starring Arya, besides Asia premieres of Dil Hai Gray (Hindi), starring Akshay Oberoi and Urvashi Rautela, and Dear Jassi (Punjabi) by Tarsem Singh are set to take place at IFFI.</p>
<p>Karan Johar and Sara Ali Khan will have a special showcase with a chat about the film Ae Watan Mere Watan.</p>

The Gala premiere is especially fitting for our most recent campaign, “Meri Mitti Mera Desh,” which honors films produced in the North, East, South, and West. We all get together to enjoy Goa’s greatest cinematic experience!</p>

<p>While Kishor Padurang Belekar’s “Gandhi Talks” delves into a social commentary that explores the depths of capitalism, racism, and society at large with intriguing references to Hindu mythology and the story of “Samudra Manthan,” Soumendra Padhi’s “Farrey” promises an exciting journey just waiting to be unraveled.</p>
<p>Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s film “Kadak Singh” tells the tale of AK Srivastava, a Department of Financial Crimes inspector who suffers from retrograde amnesia. Despite his illness, he manages to unravel the intricate mystery of the Chit Fund Scam by hearing many accounts of his past and how he got into the hospital. Milind Rau’s film “The Village” transports viewers on a spooky road journey that turns deadly as a family is attacked by a mutant clan.</p>
<p>The Gala Premieres section of the 54th IFFI, which features a number of other outstanding films like “Hurry Om Hurry,” “Dear Jassi,” “Rautu Ki Beli,” “Dhootha,” “Dil Hai Gray,” and “Grey Games,” provides a varied and engrossing cinematic experience that questions perceptions, explores human emotions, and ventures into the world of suspense and mystery.</p>
<p>One of the biggest film festivals, the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) features the greatest in international cinema. The festival gives seasoned and up-and-coming filmmakers a stage on which to present their outstanding work to a worldwide audience. IFFI is dedicated to honoring the craft of filmmaking and fostering cross-cultural interaction via its wide range of activities and film selections. Unreleased movies and direct-to-OTT programs are eager to present their work to festival goers. This time, IFFI will provide the uniqueness of the registered audience being excited to see them before anybody else.</p>
